J. P. Morgan/Chase Bank Hacked!

In the news yesterday and today, one of the largest bank organizations announced it was hacked.. and more than 75 million user accounts and maybe 7 million business accounts were accessed without warrant.
Small relief, though, user personal information was not accessed.
J. P. Morgan/Chase Bank N.A. recommends you do a daily check on your account, and change user ID and passwords. Your password should be changed at least every 60 days, doing so monthly is better.
Instead of using regular alpha or numeric characters for your user name, convert them to the ASCII character codes. A lot harder for hacking! Use uncommon passwords. And minimal 8 characters.

For a single alpha or numeric character, the ASCII hex table has two binary bits. Harder to "break" than just plain characters.

If hackers want into a system or network bad enough, not much will stop them.. except wire cutters! But too late then.

Add more big names to the "hacked" list!
K-Mart just announced a security breach to user accounts.

SnapChat also announced it was hacked, and maybe 100,000 or more photos (many intimate or revealing!) may become public.
They were supposed to 'self-destruct' on an owner's command!
