Uggg, linux here I come... I no longer have a windows disk and I can afford one. Hence my dilema. Get this crap fixed once and for all or switch. The only problem I know of with linux would be getting World of warcraft to function..

Some parts of that antivirus2009 thingy will download other crap which in turn will download viruses and trojans/rootkits that completely take over your PC to the extent it turns into a zombie. I tell you, you want a reinstall...

Uggg in order to reinstall windows I need a second/better paying job. $150 for a new disk... PDT_Armataz_01_02

Is it worth it to go the Linux route? How susseptible (sp?) to viruses is that type of OS? Is there one version thats better than others at playing with Windows based programs?

These days you can install it inside windows. nice for a 3-way boot on the macbook (macos/windows/linux) without virtualizing things.

I second Ubuntu. "Me likey." Current one is 9.04, as of 8/22. 9.10 is coming in October, so expect it soon in your system updates.
