Malwarebytes not able to clean one malware

Postby oneof5 » Sat Dec 06, 2008 9:25 am

I have ran the malware bytes several times and it has cleaned everything except this one thing and says it is unable to quarantine but will fix it when I reboot. I do that and rerun Malware bytes and it is still there. The first time I did it, when I rebooted I got a blue screen and I had to run a chkdsk to repair a sector. This was all done after I ran Spybot 1st, it found it but couldn't remove it. Same thing with Lavasoft and then I download Malwarebytes and IT tells me the same thing. I also ran the Uniblue registry booster after all this to fix the registry. HHHHHEEEELLLLP!!!

Below is a log of the Malwarebytes scan.

run the scan in safe mode, reboot to safe mode. see if that will clear it up.
