no hard drive

no cd rom

only a 5 1/4 external floppy drive with Pronto Dos operating system

no monitor just a base band video to channel 13 adapter

games like goldrush and microwave

learning to write programs in machine language

anyone?

Commodore's and cassette tape drives, oh yeah!

I also remember when EGA was the shiznit, and I thought I was bad because I had a 20 MB hard drive AND 14.4k.

Even learned to type from the old Sierra "quest" game series.

20MB drive and 14.4k? That is a bit strange....20MB drives were around the 2400baud days...

I'm just like wine, I get betta wit time!!! :lol:

I remember my very first puter was a Radio Shack Tandy laptop, had only two 3 1/2 floppy drives and came wit a 1200 bps modem. DOS 3.3 was the hottest OS out then. This was around 1990. :P
