What is the most significant advancement humankind has made, regarding our life-style?
Electricity discoveries, refrigeration, internal combustion engines, aircraft, housing construction methods, computing, heating/cooling systems, communication methods.. what is most significant? No, I didn't ignore the advances in medical proceedures. What else was very significant in how we are better able to live in our world?

Aren't those options supposed to be separate? It isn't really giving us a choice... :?

I tried to set up individual choices, but always got the "too many choices" reply. When I did the final preview, it looked good, but the actual posting was far from what I intended!

Thanks, Sabre.. guess my "cache" got "crimped" again!! Looks better now, closer to origninal intent.

We did have fires for warmth, and steam for "power" for certain devices. But what was most significant over all? Someone should know the answer! Quite logical. And quite simple.

The answer is probably education. Without that we have nothing on the list.

That's a good poll, made me think for a few minutes. Close call, but I went for Medical Research, if it wasn't for that most of us would be lucky to see our 40's out 8)
