Was reported in the news recently, that the Amazon Echo feature known as "Alexa" mistook some words from a conversation to begin recording a message and send same. Was not known to the family, until the friend called and warned them!
Alexa thought it was supposed to activate voice-operated speakers in the home, and listen to the conversation . OOPS!!

Thankfully, this was not a breach of any real privacy, just a family conversation sent out without true authorization. But still.. something may have been said that was not intended for others to hear.
Amazon says they are working to resolve the problem. If walls could talk? :-$

On the contrary, walls do "talk" in a sense. Similar to any membrane that vibrates to sounds from one side, those sounds can be propagated to the other side.. albeit weaker. Even window panes fitted with vibration sensors can alert to certain sounds from great distances.

TheUS Embassy in Moscow bug is a fine example of using vibrations and no power source to transmit...

I have seen a video where someone was able to reproduced sound with cameras because of the vibrations or something along that line.
It was pretty cool.
