Looks like a BIG baby! But many older server mobos were half-again larger than a 'standard' ATX mobo. From some links I found at Gigabyte, it may have 4 x PCI-E 16x slots, plus others! May be intended for multi-display setups or virtual reality trainers.

Had a DELL workstation board come in a box of similar size (extended ATX).. A lot of padding... :o

as the box states it a dual CPU board maybe it will be running between 8 to 12 cores?????
