personally, i wouldn't touch it w/ a 10ft pole- regardless of what they say- tubes are so antiquated (WTF)?!?!?

It just goes to show that even after all these years there are still some things that analog will always do better than digital. IBM figured that out over 15 years ago when they started using analog display adapters because the digital just couldn't cut the mustard.

Most audio freaks will tell you that tube amplifiers are far superior to digital. I don't see those audio freaks accepting what has to be a slimmed-down version of an amp in their computer. Add this to the heat factor and this one has to fall in the nice try but still a bad idea catgory.

I will almost die in all the HF EMF fields generated by all the other switched-mode power circuits. Unless you put in a linear power supply with a transformer (anyone remember what a 400W transformer looks like? Right....)
