Identifying in and output on motherboard.

Post by Fjallskogen »

So, this is the first time i will try to fix a motherboard myself. The built in converter to 5v have been fried and I will try to isolate the circuit and instead use a seperate converter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076P ... UTF8&psc=1).

But I have failed to understand where the 24V come in to the converter (standard and motherboard in pictures) aswell where the 5V comes out. From what I understand i will need to attach the 5V output of the cables where the 5V output of the converter on the board is, and isolate the 5V converter aswell. Could anybody give me some guideline to on what pins the cables should go and what pins to look at to isolate the converter.

Whould make my life somewhat easier :)
