Did it suffer the same symptoms before you upgraded to windows 10?

The power and reset buttons are only momentary-contact, normally open. No polarity issues with them. The power/other LEDs are polarity sensitive. Should be a small diagram by the FP header as to pin functions, or will be in the user manual.
Some motherboard designs may have a 'message' or 'msg' LED connection, which would blink the yellow LED for a problem or status. Just an option.
Windows 10 has changed a lot, and is not compatible with a lot of older software or hardware.
Check https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows ... ifications to ascertain. A BIOS update may clear any issues, but maybe not.
Mr T has a good question.. was this problem present before the Win 10 upgrade?
Is that motherboard certified for 64-bit operation, or only 32-bit?
Possibly the Microsoft® site will have upgraded drivers for certain hardware on that motherboard that are more compatible.

Open the case and make sure the top of all capacitors is perfectly flat, not bulging in the slightest.

If they are bulging the board needs repairs, is this system still under warranty?
