Will Micro ATX mobo work fine in a Mid tower?

Postby bmcoastie_1 » Sun Nov 10, 2002 1:44 pm

Hi guys, Looking for a Mobo for the new system I am building for my mom. I am looking at the Biostar M7VIG Motherboard for AMD Socket A Processors.

I just realized it is a micro atx board. Is the only difference that it only has 3 pci slots and not 5? Will it fit fine in my Mid Tower case?

Thanks in advance,

It will fit just fine in most cases. Most of the time they have holes drilled for the several different boards. I put a micro ATX mobo in a normal ATX case with no problems (with mounting the mobo at least :D ).
