Your board:
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?model ... 3=146&l4=0

has an AGP slot. This is not going to work in any way, you need an AGP video card or a new motherboard.

I believe the best AGP card you can get right now is the ATI Radeon 3850. But be sure you're getting an AGP, as it comes in both PCIe and AGP.

This link has several to choose from, but many only seem to support Directx 9 (for Vista you may want Directx 10 capable).

Most of the ones supporting Directx 10 had negative reviews regarding drivers... If you aren't planning on Vista there are some really nice ones (Directx 9).

Here's one without a cooling fan (if your case is well-ventilated and you want a quiet AGP Card)

Or a 6800XT

Or a couple of very cheap 5200 (after rebates about $20)

I would look at This Card, but you'll want to make sure your PSU is beefy enough, and you should also make sure the card's not too long to fit (be sure you have enough room in the case).
