Not really a programming question really. You right click on the icon and look for "Change Icon"

hmm That dont work we have tryed many diffrent ways
Thanks for that suggestion anyway

Actualy it is because IE is a program that I want to modify
in order to do so I need to know where to look
where the Icons for IE are kept and how to make changes to that program

I have every thing from
SoftIce
IDA pro full
VB6
and many other programs I just dont know how to use them fully

For the most part I use Linux (( Mozilla - Firefox ect... ))
But because IE is hard to get rid of
I want to change the Icon not just on mine but all the computers I work on to something more appealing
even with just a clear Icon that can not be seen
on any walpaper if you know what I mean

It was in another post
I made in OS

Reshacker - Stardock Icon packager

using these 2 programs allowed me to make the changes

Reshacker I went into C:/programs/Internet Explorer Opened the EXE and made changes to the Icons It was very easy
my IE is now a white Fox head and its called Net Snifer hahahha
found in > in system32 moreicon.dll
I right clicked on desktop/properties/desktop/customize desktop/ unchecked IE
Took the New one I made with Icon and name pasted it to the desktop
works awsome and matches my Theme perfictly
it blends in with the woods ect... like the rest of my Icons
