MSI

I purchased a game, Ghost Recon, that I had setup on a disk that I formatted. Prior to formatting, I copied all the files pertaining to the game, including setup.bat and setupreg to cd. The games original cd is damaged beyond repair. I copied all the files to my current hdd. The game works.
I tried to apply a mod for the game, and the mod gos all the way to the end of its setup file and says "Ghost Recon must be installed prior to running this setup".
The game is NOT in the add and remove programs list.

Q How can I create a setup file for the game? msiexec.exe?
Is there somewhere in the reg that the mods install checks for the game that I can adjust?

Tried contacting the manufacturer for a replacement. Big waste of time as the replacement would cost $5 more than just purchasing a new copy.

Thanks

First, the don'ts: No threads, posts or links involving porn, warez, racism, excessive spam or "flaming" are allowed. Offenders will be given one warning only. Any infractions after that will result in being banned

What you are asking for essentially is help with a "crack" for the game. Which is considered warez!!!
