if you go to http://www.driverguide.com (you will need to sign up for an account). You can search by company. I was just on there and found a driver for your cdrw that has been tested on win 98, win98se, winnt. There are also a lot of Beta version drivers on there that you can try as well.

Anytime I need a driver they always have it.

Good Luck.

I found this one for Win 2000. You can give it a try http://members.driverguide.com/index.php?action=dosearch&qm0=4424&qa5=3&dp=3&sm=b&jmd=and&fzz=d&sc=os&sd=2&pg=1

Or go to http://www.freecom.com in the support section you can download drivers. The only XP driver I saw there was for a USB connection. But you can try other drivers as well. Just because it doesn't say WinXP on it doesn't mean it won't work.

Have you tried the XP startup disk? Which has a generic cdrom driver.

Burners or cdrw, uses simple drivers for cdrom functions. Then you need a burner software for writing to cdr or cdrw media.

Free burner software are available such as magiciso. But you might have to buy a burner software after some trial.
