BlueCoat is probably the most secure proxy out there. The model in particular that we are using is an 800 series. What I've been trying to do is find a way to encapsulate a restricted protocol in an allowed protocol's mask to allow me to use SSH/SSL tunneling through an open port. To my knowledge, the proxy is set to block all user agents besides Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, and other Microsoft-related programs from sending or receiving information. Would there be a way to encapsulate/mask another program in a request from an allowed user agent?
My reason for wanting to know this is 78% educational...
