I just bought a used linksys BEFSR41 ver 2. Hook it up and I can access internet fine, but I can't log in to the config page. Tried 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.8.1. I reset it with the reset button, no luck. 8O

I am by no means an expert here, but it looks like the person who had this before you changed that information. I believe if you hold the reset button on the unit for 30 seconds or more the router will be restored to factory defaults. Then the first address you tried should work and the password will go back to the default of ADMIN.
Good Luck.

I believe that you have to hold the reset button while it's turned on, wait 20-30 secs. Keep holding the reset button and power cycle the unit. After 10-20 secs let go of the reset button and power cycle the router again.
