networking and firewalls

Hi, I just created a wireless network in my house. My question is... Is there a way to share files/printers between computers with the firewall(The one included in XP) enabled? I could share files when it is disabled, but I can't when it is enabled. Can someone help me? Thanks.

If I use another firewall such as ZoneAlarm, is it safe to turn off the XP firewall?

you'll probably have to find the IP for the other computers and allow them to connect to yours,
On the left panel of ZA, go to firewall, then on the right of that, go to the Zones tab and add in the IP addy's of the computers and make sure they are in the trusted category
Im sure someone can explain it better and give more help lol, but thats the best I can do

and yes it is safe to turn off the Windows firewall if you have another one
