wireless router to router

Postby zooofer » Mon Feb 09, 2009 7:20 pm

Greetings all,
I have an odd networking question, at least it is to me. I need to create a network for 3 servers (My servers are part of the Hvac controls and will not be a part of the building network, it will only share the internet connection) in 2 separate buildings that are about 200 ft apart. I might be able to pull a CAT 5, but after pulling to the top of both buildings I'm going to be close to 300' mark. Or I might be able to consult with local i.t. and see if they can lend me a port. But here is my question: Is there a way to have 2 wireless routers (or similar equip.) to communicate with one another? I know that 2 laptops with wireless cards can communicate with one another.

Thanks

Or you could just go with a profesional wireless router that will go the distance for you:

with 2 wireless cards:

Hope this helps!
