Vista and problems with WPA

Postby Kyoushu » Fri Oct 03, 2008 12:25 am

Still having the reboots problem, but I'm trying to get WPA encryption going and Vista seems to have issues connecting to a network uinsg WPA-PSK on TKIP. I tried downloading the hotfix and updating the wireless card's network drivers but no luck.

What make/model are your network card and router? Installed SP1 yet?

It's a D-Link 614+ Revision B, and I don't think it supports WPA2.
All the other computers in the house on XP can connect fine, just not the one on Vista.

The netcard is some integrated piece of crap.
Broadcom Integrated Controller.

I am using Vista Home Premium with encryption set as WPA Personal on AES.
Works fine.
Try that.
