Verizon Fios...good, bad?

Postby dizzyflower28 » Mon Jun 23, 2008 7:10 am

I'm looking into Verizon Fios. They have a "Powerplay" package for TV, Phone, & Internet. We are hoping to keep our land line which it sounds like this package will let us do. My question is does anyone here have Fios? Do they like it? Is there any special equipment that has to be purchased? I know they are including a "free" router. Do our network cards have to be upgraded? I'm so new to this technology...

You may need to upgrade your network cards if the router is N draft and you want the extra speed it offers as you can only go as fast as the slowest connection you have.
