What's happened here?

Postby Pette Broad » Wed Dec 03, 2003 6:30 pm

WU was at around the 280 mark when suddenly it asked to connect. It stayed connected for a few seconds, then another message popped up saying it was O.K to close the connection..It then started on a new WU and couldn't possibly have sent or received anything significant in the 10 seconds or so it requested. Also for some reason, my 2nd WU from last week didn't get sent until I finished the 3rd one then they both got sent together. Is this normal?

Pete

Does this mean I lost it :(

you should post this at the FAH forums under the bug reporting section. anything that gets deleted does mean that you do not get any credit for it. best to use the -verbosity 9 flag for maximal output to fahlog.txt file- which can be especially handy during trouble shooting errors.

well, either that's a bad bug, a damaged work unit, or a timered checkpoint.

O.K, Just had another one bomb out after 15 or so units on another computer. This one has at least gone into the upload work queue

Cheers,

Pete

To force the ones in quoqe to upload, just fire up the client with the -sendall flag, and then re-start it without the flag once it's done.

reference the flags list:

if using the latest beta, then consult the changelog for new flags.
