How many computers are you using to run F@H?

Postby CDBurner » Tue Dec 02, 2003 1:53 am

I'm currently running three; a fourth will be running F@H as soon as I can get it repaired.

The processors are:
AthlonXP 2000+ (Thoroughbred)
Athlon 1.2GHz (Thunderbird)
Celeron 366 (Mendocino)
Celeron 366 (Mendocino) - This is the machine needing to be repaired.

I have 4 running 24/7:

Intel P4 2.6 800 Mhz
Intel P4 1.7 400 Mhz
Intel PII 400 Celeron
Intel P1 200

I should retire the P1 200, but it is my first build from 1996 and still runs fine!

if you take longer than the deadline to finish wu's w/ the p200, then the wu will be worth zero points! just a heads up. reference the current running projects, and do the math to see how long the wu will take. if longer than the deadline, you know it'll be a wasted effort. at best, you can specifiy gah wu pref under advanced options in the console, or right click the systray icon, and select config for the graphical version. the gah wu's don't have a deadline, so you'll get something for the effort.

Six machines running 24/7 and a seventh running occassionally.

1. 950MHz Celeron
2. 1333MHz Athlon
3. 2400 Celeron
4. dual 2000MHz Athlon
5. 800Mhz Athlon
6. 800MHz Duron

7. Barton 2500+ overclocked to 2200MHz.

The Barton has become unstable for folding since a memory "upgrade" from generic DDR400 to Corsair value select DDR400 so I'm waiting on some more memory before putting it back into action.

One right now. an XP2000, later today I'm introducing a Duron 950 and by the weekend a Pentium 2 333. These are the only computers that have a direct link to the Net.

Pete

EDIT Pentium 2 Now up and running. Will be seting up another computer with a Duron 1300 shortly. Need to work out a way to give this machine Net access first though.

I've got my P4 1.8ghz @ 2.0ghz running 24/7, my brothers 1.1ghz Athalon running about 6-8 hours a day and my parents Celeron 333mhz running 24/7 lol I only see a WU about every 3 weeks from that one! I am finishing up a computer P3 733mhz that I am making for my daughter for Christmas, and as soon Christmas is here I will be folding with it 24/7 as well. hehe
