Basically my dad just won't let me run it 24 hours a day - don't know why. Even though i proved to him the router cost more to run (2A of draw = $7 a month - my rig would be about $6.40 a month). However, i do fold anywhere from 6-15 hours a day - sometime's i'll leave the rig on while i'm at school, or when i go out.

I'm sorry to hear that. :(

Still, 6-15 hours a day is certainly not bad. :D

Actually, the last time i remember, he was pissed at me for running it - that and leaving the comp on while i went to the movies. So really, he doesn't know now. But it doesn't matter. He cannot stop what i have started. The team will go on with or without my input. But for the moment, it's with. Don't worry guys. In about two years, when i'm out of here, this rig will fold 24/7 in the dorm, while my laptop folds overnight.

OK, kids
I can do anything I want, I'm 46 and divorced. I only have to pay the bill.
I turn my monitor off when I am not using my pc and that helps alot.
Turning on hibernation seems to slow the folding, so i don't use it.

Well, we've moved up to 124th now. I thought we would have passed up pcmech by now, but that obviously isn't the case.

Anyway, for those who are keeping tabs on the stats, here are the update intervals for the various stats pages:

Our Stanford CGI team stats page (update interval: 1 hour)

Our Statsman team stats page (update interval: 6 hours)

Statsman Top 1000 Teams page (update interval: 6 hours)

Here is the best stats page:

http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ ... amID=33258

It just came back online from being down the last week or so. It just compiled all the work units that it missed in the last 7 days so the graphs are a litlle screwy. It will take a few days for everything to get back to normal.

That is a nice-looking stats page. It's not very accurate though. It says we are in 125th when we are in 124th. It says that I started folding on 12-5-03 when I started 11-28-03. Oh well, maybe it will catch up and the stats will straighten out.
