Using the SMP Client for multi-core CPUs I am getting 1200PPD on a 2.66Ghz Core 2 Duo.

I just want to know if this is good, bad or average etc?

Before upgrading to a Core 2 Duo, I was using an old 3Ghz P4 which gave me around 75PPD, because of the huge difference, I think it's futile to compare the two.

Depends on the protein model. Some are complex, and take many days to work. Others are simplified, and may complete in one day or less. And point values for each WU differ greatly. Some WU points range above 1,000 points each.. others may have less than 200 points.
You can check your individual statistics from this page.. http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Stats
It may not always be available, as it is 'down' for updates often (hourly, per the notation thereon).

Haven't done SMP for a while but I'd say that's normal.

My Core 2 Quad pumps out about 1800 PPD (based on a 2 month average) on SMP. So considering that, I would say your "DUO" is doing just fine. I did however, see an increase when I upgraded memory from 4GB to 8GB (on Vista ULT 64 bit). I am calling for "big" units.
