Yes, FahMon can't read these units properly as they only have 50 frames instead of the usual 100. A fix is due when the next version of FahMon is released.....any day now I believe. So what you have to do is divide the initial FahMon esimate by two.

Pete

BTW, none of the other Folding@Home monitors like EM3 and FahSpy can read these units either.

And process steps may become more complicated toward the end of the regimen, taking more time than previous steps. This can throw off the "clock" that monitors the progress.

Obviously, a checkpoint became corrupt.. and the process will probably restart from the zero point.

It ran like that for about 15 minutes, always giving me a different frame time and end time. now it seems to be running fine and looks like it pickd up around where it left off when i did my reboot. checked on it this mornign and it seems to be running like normal. even F@Hmon corrected it self and shows a 1.5 day endtime versus 44 days.

Some of these units have frame times all over the place. I had one that folded up to 32 steps at 8mins 30secs per frame. Then it went up to 13 minutes for 3 frames then did a frame at sub 3mins. Later on the frame time ballooned to 32 minutes followed by a 60 second frame :o . After 70 frames it settled back to 8:30 frames,

The F@H monitor program doesn't get to read any previous stats as to the process when the program is restarted. Only what is actual. It may take some " warm-up stretches" to get the process down to an organized stepping procedure. Whenever I restart my Console, the noted times of frames is quite different from those of maybe an hour or two later!

These things just keep coming :o

Thanks to the updated FAHMon, I'm now getting sensible readings and the PPD is over 300 :D

Edit:

They're all gone :( I've got a 2452 giving me a PPD of 40 :(
