I'd bet that's those new SMP units coming in from his machines :D

As a side (awesome) note, our team 24h points average is now just above 45k!

I think it's coming from Stanford getting caught up. They do this from time to time. Give lost WU credit. I noticed that a LOT of teams all had a point surge over the last couple of days.

Yeah, most of my machines are running SMP, I completed at least a dozen yesterday :)

Also, its worth noting that the last 2 days have both been team records, well over 60k both days :)

Pete - how long does it take to run one of the 1760 pointers on your machines? Right now I'm folding #2605.

Just for comparison: My mac completes it in about 16 1/2 - 17 hours.

I'm just being curious.

AWESOME point increase there. Maybe this folding thing will come up with some scientific answers sooner than later. My poor dad is literally losing his mind. I've watched him change very dramatically over the last 5 years and it makes me want to fold even more. I know they're studying LOTS of stuff but I can always hope they find answers if not for my dad.... at least for my future (and my siblings/cousins).

Pete has quite a setup of computers working the F@H processes! And for quite some time, also. What.. about 20 or so active systems?
Doubt anyone else will equal his output, unless it is a large company setup.

Myth, Here's a brief list...

AMD 64 6000+ .....33 hours
AMD 64 5200+......42 hours
AMD 64 4200+......55 hours
Intel T5600...........71 hours

The 6000,s and the 5200,s can make the 3 day preferred deadline with a 7 hour switchoff at night (that's all the sleep I need these days :) )

The 4200,s can only make the 4 day final deadline, the T5600 laptop is on 24/7 so the deadlines aren't a problem.

My mother also had a type of Dementia (vascular dementia) so I know exactly how you feel.

You never know, I might just have to try

On a more serious note, I know how you feel also, Myth. My great-grandma suffers from dementia, and it seems like everyone knows at least one or two people that has Alzheimer's. It really does make you want to fold more and more.
