Jet Set Willy

In the mid 80s I owned a commodore computer and I developed an addicition to the platform game Jet Set Willy. I recently downloaded a pc version and despite the competition from modern games such as Quake I still find myself curiously addicted to this 80s classic game. Has anyone else become obsessed with pc emulations form 80s games. Can I be cured ? :D

Pong for ever...

Seriously though, I bought an Atari 2600 last year so I could have the original Donkey Kong and PacMan. THere's something to be said for playing it originally...

Moving this to the Games Forum.

I love the arcade games of the '70s and '80s. Asteroids Deluxe, Stargate and Dragons Lair being my favs.

If you guys like atari nostalgia, check this out!

http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=321721

It's 10 atari games inside one controller. All you need is a TV with A/V input jacks.

Bad news is that this will bring down the value of my atari 2600 and games I have stored in the attic...

I still have all of my old console systems back home. Even though I have a PS2 and a computer, I still find myself venturing back to the old Atari and NES.

And speaking of Pong... I have an old mechanical Pong game. You have to wind it up. The red LED just goes back and forth between 3 positions on each side. You have to push one of the 3 buttons to block the "ball" and send it back to the other side. It was pretty cheesy and easy to cheat on, but interesting none-the-less.

Back in the day, I had a Vic-20, then a BBC Micro and a ZX Spectrum. I became seriously addicted to Manic Miner on the Spectrum.

For pure nostalgia, there are some really decent emulators and games to be had at:

Anyone here ever hear about a console called Odyssey, which I owned before Atari?
