I think I'm in love: pic of the super-sexy silver Gameboy Advance SP (92k file)

Here's what Google news found out about it..

Summary:

It's a boxy clamshell-design, it's 5oz, still only has 2 face buttons, the L and R buttons are still there, has a 2.9 inch screen, has a rechargable Li-Ion battery that will go 18 hours w/ the light off... and 10 hours with the front-light on! Finally, they've lit the screen! Kinda looks like they might be doing what the Afterburner does, and using a luminous film/piece of plastic to get the light across the screen.

Glad you found something to love! :D

Myself, I just never liked the handhelds. Tried most of 'em and I don't like 'em. I much prefer a console or a PC. 8)

I've been drooling over the GBA for a while now, what with some of my favorite SNES games being ported over. Now it's a toss-up between that lovely rendition of the GBA and SimCity 4 as to what I'm putting most of my Christmas money to.

My son has the regular Game Boy Adavanced but prefers to play games on my PocketPC just because of the backlight.

Maybe if I buy him the SP I can have my PocketPC back :D

Best handheld system ever: The TurboExpress by NEC. It used the same game cards as the TG16, it had a backlit color LCD screen and an optional TV tuner. And this was ten years ago!
