Man I loved that game. Still have it, too... it just runs like crap on my current PC. Never got to play the multiplayer, is it any good?

It's a cool game, just like FS1 was. The branching missions are better in FS2 in my opinion. And the alternate ending for the game is pretty cool.

Yes I have it and have played it up to a certain level, they say (them being pc gamer and the like) that it is still the best space sim to date ever!

Had a bit of a job getting it to run in 1024x768 but when I did enjoyed it.

Still have it and will return to it one day.

Yeah I used to play it. Very cool game. I got stuck on a level though and put it down for RTCW a long time ago.

I have yet to find another sim in that genre that can replace it. I haven't found anything that had as good gameplay and ergonomics for the controls. The story line can get pretty complexe.

One particular mission you're ordered to stop a ship from escaping(when you're working for the GTI if I'm not mistaken), and you get crap either way. I got court marshalled for destroying the ship (ooops), lost my wings, and yet the game kept going. ???

Favorite ship is the boanerges (whatever the spelling is) Awesome ship if you ask me. Paired with the right weapons it's almost unstopable.

I havent played since i dont have a joystick and my computer is still up to par that i want it to. but from what I heard another really good that is coming out is freelancer. It was from the creators of wing commander. It is supposed to be like privateer. Which was probably the last space sim I played. And I thought it was really sweet :D
