Er...... what is the best looking game you have ever played. I vote UT2003. Crank up the settings and it rocks.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind hands down, at least until Doom III comes out  .

Nice choices, doom 3 will look fantastic, but i read that you need a ninja bastard graphics card to play it smoothly, I.E Radeon 9700 Pro or GeForce FX. It obvious from screenshots really! My Ti 4600 wont be able to handle it i think.

I would have to agree with you on UT2003. I like the way people die. Their bodies move cool.

UT2003 is definatly up there. That is called the "Rag Doll Effect", which is also really impresive. Doom III will also have the "Rag Doll Effect" enemies will fall over railings, tumble down stairs, and crumple to the floor.

Another game I find amazing that no one has mentioned is Max Payne great game, great looking game, and was unusual for its time because of its high minimum requirement of 96mb of ram.

Id have to say unreal 2003 mainly because there is really nothing out there to challenge it at the minute because of the great engine it was made with. Splinter cell will be awesome to look at too and all the new games will be very pretty, but I think doom 3 will definately steel the show.

Let's not forget Quake 4 8) :D I was waiting for Unreal 2003 for ages and when it finally came it didnt take long for the novelty of the superb graphic's to wear off leaving me with a fairly sub-standard game with truly terrible maps. I have the feeling ID wont make the same mistake and Quake 4 will be the ultimate fragging experience with arena's for fighting not for playing hide and seek. 8)
Yes, I am new and new rhymes with poo but you were new once too so you smelled like poo or even an old shoe....just made that up good eh!?
