I like a lot of racing games and this is one of them. Great Graphics, Cool Cars, etc

only thing I didn't like much is you sure do a lot of burnouts. Example: when you crash, press the gas button just a little and your burning tires and lose control easily.

I'm not a fan of racing games, but my friend's older brother is raving about this game. He says that it's amazing...

The game seems cool enough. It seems really easy to spin out, but you quickly learn how differing amounts of gas do different things. The extra control you get from having more realistic physics can be more rewarding, though it generally comes after many frustrating spinouts.

My friend has been playing it for a while and he's able to pull off some ridiculous drifts.

its a PAIN IN THE ASS on the PC if your using a keyboard imo.

The version for XBOX 360 is much easier to handle with the joystick.

Best would be a steering wheel / foot pedal combonation for the PC or Xbox

Agreed. I can't do any drifting in the game with a keyboard. The xbox 360 controller is automatically detected if you plug it into your computer though, so that's nice.
