Is HDMI really worth it for XBOX 360?

Like to play games? This is the place to talk about it.

not necessarily, i get all my gadgetry and technology hidden, and prefer a common color scheme to all my devices,

example: i recently built a new system, but could not stand the annoying flashing leds, so i swapped out my armor series case for a p182 (the gunmetal one) and will never go back...

my 360 is actually on a shelf behind the tv, out of sight, along with all the neon green game boxes...

Most of the parents that I know that have a console have it "for there kids" even though they play with it also.

If I had kids, then that would be a great excuse. But if I buy something, I have no-one to blame but myself now

I currently use a component cable for my xbox 360. I have a 1080i TV is it worth it to get a hdmi cable for the xbox?

at 1080i, i don't think a 46" is going to get much of any benefit from HDMI.

if that were a 46" 1080p (like the one i have), i would say otherwise. i notice a difference from going from component to hdmi on my tv, when viewing in 1080p...
