I'm looking for a network base game that my girlfriend and i can play together. WE don't want to play online, just between the two computers thru my local network. she not big into shooters and we both like strategy based games (currently playing my old copy of 1602AD). if anybody knows of even boardgame based games it would be nice.

CIV 4?

I also like some simple older games and remakes of simple older games like Scorched Earth. It`s kind of like an advanced version of the old tank games for Atari. Choose a tank and weapons/equipment, then take turns figuring out the angle/power to reach your opponent and blow them up. Each round you win earns you money. You can play with several players simultaneously, including AI controlled players of varying ability.

URL tags not working at the moment for some reason, sorry

edit: nevermind, that was really strange

Any RTS can do that I would imagine, right? They are always fun playing against someone you know.

StarCraft and StarCraft - Brood War.

From Blizzard Software.

ASUS K8N, AMD Sempron 3100+(1.8ghz), 1gb RAM, eVGA 5500FX 256mb AGP, two WD120gb SATA drives in RAID 0 (striping), 450w power supply.

Fold well, so that others may prosper.
