Did you ever get the feeling playing a new game that you been there done that? I've noticed in two newer games the following:

HL2 Episode 2....Climbing up the silo to close the hatch early on reminded
me of climbing the silo in HL1 with the three headed monster in
the middle that could hear you and trying to peck you to death.

Crysis Demo......That darn little boat out on the water all the time from

Anyone got any more lately.

Lots of recurring scenes from previous versions, to keep the "flavor". Some times the same sprites are used, otherwise they are an "improvement" of the original version.
Has anyone noted that with older game versions of weapons, you had several hundred rounds and didn't have to reload after only a few shots? Newer versions require a reload after maybe only 10 shots or so! More realistic?

I did notice the Crysis/farcry one, felt like i was playing Farcry. The weapons in the new games are really different, constantly reloading gets annoying but it is more realistic
