Postby felony » Thu Dec 09, 2004 5:38 pm

my friend is getting a gaming rig. his parents set the balance at 1000$. u can go over a little the most i can see u going over though is lees then 100$.

first off i told him to get and amd socket 939 build and he said yes cuz im smart. is amd 64 or amd xp better. either way its going to be a build with the better of the 2 processors. and the only motherboard he will accept (since i told him to) is an Abit AV8. and i also got him set on a Nvidia Geforce 6800 (not 6800gt cuz its 450$)

so can somebuild a great system with that budget.

thanx guyz

3000+ $150
AV8 $118
pdp 2x512mb ddr400 xbl $200
80gb hd $60
cdrw drive $25
chieftec dragon case $49

6800 128mb$290
windows xp os $89

thats like $1070
