What's the deal if you order something from Newegg if it's not in stock? Does it just take longer?

I took a look, and I didn't see it posted on here yet so I'll go ahead

A good place to buy older pc parts if you need them and just don't feel or don't want to upgrade to a newer pc, have a client like that or have a situation or project where you need older parts, then I highly recommend

http://www.starmicro.net/

They are reliable and offer good customer service. I have used them a few times now with no problems. Even had to RMA a couple of parts before with no problem. I will say my only complaint is there 25% restocking fee which I consider a little high, but hey, they are dealing with parts that are hard to find and also let you know in plain english in the return policy if you read it.

Hey, I'm new to this forum and to the gaming computer world. Treat me as a noob if you like. I'm going to get a new rig soon and i wasn't sure what mobo I should get. I need one that's compatible with:
- core 2 quad (Intel)
-2g RAM DDR2 880mhz
-8800gt - but will buy another later(SLI)

Does anyone have an idea what could be good. Maximum 230$.
Thx

You probably want to start a new thread just for your new build instead of using this sticky
