The Gigabyte boards:
GA-MA790FX-DS5
GA-MA790FX-UD5P
both have two PCIe x16 slots. My question is are both slots useable if I am not installing two graphics cards? For example, say one slot for graphics card and other one for NIC, or video capture card, or whatever. Or must I leave one slot unused if not doing the ATI CrossFire (two graphics cards) setup?

It looks like these boards only support graphics cards in the x16 slots, no matter how you set the bios:

As I do not see a final update, I assume the poster simply returned the board and bought something else...

Well that bites bigtime...guess I'll not be using these two boards, with only 4 useable slots, since I have totally failed to find anything useful to put in the two PCI slots. Guess I should of asked here before I bought these boards. Anyway, thanks for telling me.
