I would like to find Linux alternative programs for the ones I currently use in Windows.

I have found some, but I'm unsure about the rest. Did I locate the best replacements?

Am I on the right track? Are the alternatives I found the best? What about the ones I didn't find [ ? ]?

Once I locate the proper programs, I can rid myself of Windows. lol :)

Its a big list to go through, but bear in mind linux is not windows so you won't need anti malware, antivirus may be, but again pretty useless - I have never had malware or a virus on my linux machines or any macbook. If you do require an anti virus, I recommend ClamAV.. Avoid Bleachbit, it has great potential for hosing your system. 7Zip does most zip functions and works with rar files..

This is just a list of programs I use often, or semi-often.

Any Linux version would make my switch much more easier. If Linux has some of this preinstalled, let me know. What names do those programs have?
