64 bit O.S. And Old Printer

Postby c327 » Wed Jul 08, 2015 1:10 am

i know my HP wired inkjet printer is old and slow but it does work. When I upgrade from XP Pro to Windows 10 something which I guess will be 64 bit will my old HP printer and stand alone scanner still be able to be used on my Windows 10 PC's ?

I hate to see XP go but it has just to many issue in using it any more.

Suggestions on my upcoming printer and scanner issues

Thanks

Your printer should have no problems with a 64-bit OS format. Same with its other features. Only an updated driver may be needed. USB is the current means of peripheral device connection. The LPT feature is still alive, but out of favor.

What model are they? Maybe they are supported out of the box, no additional drivers needed. And of course check thehp website!
