Hey Guys ater a cheapish upgrade to my 5 year old Geforce GTS250 graphics card, I've noticed it's really struggling if I'm on a webchat site like tinychat with up to 12 active video cams on at the same time. Any recommendations, My limit is about £100, how much of a power upgrade would I get for that ?

Thanks in advance.

Decent specs on that GTS250.. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop ... ifications
What is the wattage of your PSU? May be marginal, if video stutters. Max video power draw is 150watts.
May also not be a problem with the video card, could be a lot of background programs hogging data time.
Could also be time to do an internal dusting, or thermal limiting is starting due to high temperature in the case.

That would get you a GTX750Ti - ish which is 4 steps up on the ladder:

But, as said, are you 100% sure it is your graphics card being slow, not disk throughput, lack of available memory or even your internet connection?

Impressive specs on that card, but it wants at least 180 watts of power. Hope your PSU is adequate.

Do a 3D Mark test on it, with no other background programming.. and compare test scores. :mb_happyspunk::
