Welcome to Motherboards.org!

Same advice as given to anyone building their own system.. build it around your needs now, and into the future.
Even if some features are not needed right now, ensure they are easy and not expensive to add.
The range in price I noted is from about $100.00 USD to well over $250.00 USD.. depending on features.
Best to go with a full-size motherboard, and full-size case. This way, no "special" parts needed.
For a power supply, choose one of a good brand, at least 800 watts output.. for better reserves and regulation. Video is your choice, either single or dual video cards.
For the CPU, go with a model that you would add in the future. May be a bit more initial cost, but you save over having to replace it later.

List your choices here, and let the 'pros' go over what is best or could be better.
Good luck with your build!

I like (and have) the ASRock Z77 MOBO

Check reviews on newegg
Both have 4 eggs, but the asrock z77 is "tom's hardware approved"..that's kind of nice, isn't it? The asrock is about $100 less expensive too, if money is a concern

good luck!
