Just checked out the website for Redhat 8.0. I gotta say it looks pretty sweet.

Actually it is pretty bitchin. We just installed it on a 1200US machine and the only thing it complained about was the IPAQ networking PC Card. But the Linksys works great.
Everything auto-configures...its perfect for the desktop user.

$39.99 for the personal edition! Looks like Redhat is getting aggressive in their pricing scheme. I wonder if this distibution will give windows a run fior the money. :?:

Burned the ISO's last night, installed rh8.0 on the PC. I have a slight problem when it starts the xwindow, it hangs up, and there is sits

I also downloaded all the manuals for that distro, over 1,000 pages of information 8O

Time to R.T.F.M.
