a7v333 flash question

Postby twixel » Thu Sep 12, 2002 1:40 pm

I just went to flash my BIOS using the asus post flash utility, I typed in the file name and then it said the following:

1. update main BIOS area (Y/N)?
2. update boot block area (Y/N)?

which one do do i hit Y for?

I also went to it with asus update and went to load the file from my documents then it said the file was correct flash/exit. I was going to click flash but it seemed to be too easy, should I just do it this way instead?

Thank's

Ok just went back to give it another go and it say's this above that other stuff
bios version: a7v333 boot block

So common sense is telling me to press no to update the main bios area and yes to update boot block area, but i still dont want to make a mistake because im a flashing virgin.
