Can anyone tell me what code 601 and 162 mean on an old 286 computer?

Error codes depend on the bios used...
Post the type of bios and we'll see what we can find...

The best I can find for the BIOS is "Dallas DS1287 Real Time 9032B3 005793" The computer is an "IBM Personal System/2 Model 30 286" Hope this helps some.
