PCchips M570 bios flash problem.

Postby lostcause64 » Mon Sep 09, 2002 3:22 pm

I've been trying to flash the AMIbios on an old M570 (v1.3) mobo. After downloading the appropriate files/programs from PCchips, going out to Dos and following the instructions, I was rewarded with the following message:

">Chipset/Flash part isn't available. The function will be invalid."

The system still works fine (it's the one I'm using for this post), no changes at all. I don't know what to do to get the flash to happen.

In the past, I've had no luck contacting PCchips tech support, and now there seems to be no point of contact to their tech dept at all from the website.

Any ideas/help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
John

Try downloading a new file from here:

And get a new flash program.
