AGP Aperture settings still

Postby me again » Fri Sep 06, 2002 11:02 am

Have a Pcchips 817 LMR with AMI Bios and I'm unable to find a normal aperture menu allowing an increment amount of memeory setting i.e 16 32 64 128. There is some AGP setting High or Low. Is this it? If it is how does this affect performance? AMI sends you to the board MFG. Pcchips won't answer, nothing on the manual. Anyone else have this board? It seems to be the latest drivers/bios. Damn I should have grabbed the Epox!

are you within the 14days or so from ordering, so as to be able to RMA (return merchandise authorization) (or close)?

dowwnload sisoft sandra 2002 standard (might be helpful in checking your system out):
http://www.sisoftware.demon.co.uk/sandra/

i'd try the agp high, then low, and look up under mainboard info to see what is listed.
