hi, i want to flash my BIOS so that it supports my 120Gb-HD (120,0 Gb Maxtor D540X - MAXT00600) that i am buying tomorrow.
i have never done this before and i am in need of some help.

this is the BIOS information i got from BIOS Wizard:
BIOS Manufacturer: Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOS ID: 04/22/1999-i440BX-W977EF-2A69KF09C-00
BIOS Date: 04/22/99
BIOS OEM Signon: VERSION : MI413
BIOS ROM Size: 256K
Chipset: Intel 440BX/ZX rev 3
Super I/O Chip: Winbond 83977EF found at port 370h

i am running win2000 pro.
my computer is about 4 years old, it's a intel pentium 3, 450Mhz, AGP and 128 Mb SD-RAM.
the text on the motherbords says "VB-601"
i thinks that's the motherboard model number (FIC VB-601?), or can i download a program that identifies my motherboard? where?

i think i have understood HOW to flash it (using awdflash.exe and the bios.bin on a boot disk)
how do i know what BIOS to use and where do i find it?

all help is needed help
