I want to know if update the BIOS of MBO PcChips M810LMR Rev3.0 (originally it supports Athlon: 650Mhz ÷ 1.2 Ghz and Duron: 550 ÷ 850 Mhz)
it would add support for new quicker CPUs. For example, DURON 950 MHZ ÷ 1.2 GHZ; ATHLON: 1.3 ÷ 1.4 GHZ; OR ATHLON XP.

I have read that the version 7 of the MBO PcChips M810LMR supports these processors.

I will thank to who can respond to my doubt.

It will add support for newer CPU but you may be harmed in another way :
Revision 3.x may or may not support FSB133 needed for AthlonXP CPU .

User's manual indicates that the Rev. 3.0A support CPUs with FSB 200Mhz.
