BIOS upgrade for my computer

Postby tslok » Sun Jun 27, 2004 9:37 am

I want to upgrade my motherboard but no idea on the brand name of my motherboard. By running the BIOS wizard, here is the information:
Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG
BIOs ID = 06/28/2000-693-596A-DD-2A6LGD4FC-00
Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Here are the information on my board:
3 memory slots
7 PCI slots (4 short and 3 long)
Pentium III processor
2 VIA chips (VT82C693A and VT82C596B)

At middle of the board (right next to memory slot), the label read "CA61 REV B1"

Thanks again for all your help

Means :
CA61 as model number
B1 as Revision number .
Revision number might berequred for Bios upgrade if DFI has different Bios for different Revisions
